AZELLA ADVISOR LEGAL STATEMENT

Ethics, Human Rights & Supply Chain Standards

Last Updated: April 6, 2026

AZELLA Advisor (“AZELLA,” “the Company,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards. We believe that respect for human rights is fundamental to our operations and the professional services we provide to the financial advisor community.

1. HUMAN RIGHTS & ANTI-MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT

AZELLA Advisor maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding modern slavery, human trafficking, and forced labor. Although AZELLA operates primarily in the professional services and software sectors—which are traditionally low-risk for such abuses—we remain vigilant in our business relationships and internal operations.

1.1 Our Standards

We are guided by the principle that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. AZELLA prohibits:

  • The use of forced, bonded, or indentured labor.

  • The exploitation of children or the use of child labor in any capacity.

  • Any form of human trafficking or the procurement of commercial sex acts.

1.2 Workplace Environment

We ensure that all AZELLA associates, contractors, and partners work in an environment that is:

  • Voluntary: Employees are free to leave their employment following reasonable notice.

  • Respectful: Free from harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.

  • Safe: Compliant with all applicable federal, state, and international labor and safety standards.

2. EXPECTATIONS FOR VENDORS & PARTNERS

AZELLA Advisor expects its suppliers—including data providers, hosting facilities, and software subprocessors—to share our commitment to human rights.

  • Compliance with Law: All partners must comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they do business.

  • Verification: AZELLA reserves the right to evaluate its high-impact vendors to ensure they meet our ethical standards. This may include reviewing a vendor’s own human rights disclosures or conducting due diligence during the procurement process.

  • Accountability: We reserve the right to terminate relationships with any vendor or partner found to be in material breach of basic human rights or labor laws.

3. INTERNAL ACCOUNTABILITY & TRAINING

AZELLA maintains internal accountability standards to ensure our team understands our ethical obligations.

  • Employee Conduct: All AZELLA employees and contractors are required to adhere to this Statement. Failure to comply with our ethical standards may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

  • Reporting: We encourage a culture of transparency. Any associate or partner who becomes aware of a potential violation of these human rights standards is encouraged to report the concern to the AZELLA Legal Department at request@azella.io.

4. TRANSPARENCY & STATUTORY COMPLIANCE

This statement is intended to provide transparency regarding our operations in alignment with the spirit of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act and the UK Modern Slavery Act, as they relate to a professional services organization of our size and scope.
